Hello Everyone! We hope you have had a lovely half term break and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!
Things are still looking very different this half term as most of us work from home but we'll still be sending through your daily activities to keep you busy and learning.
If there are any problems, please email us or contact us on Teams and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Our topic this term is "We are Amazing!" and you are! We're finding out all about our body and what keeps us healthy. Find the shooting star icon on our Topics page for a list of websites to investigate.
Keep reading to see what we'll be finding out about during the half term.
We will be using a range of non-fiction texts to find out about our bodies and how to keep them healthy. In Bug Club we have a fiction book to read. Year 3 you're going camping on Black Mountain in the book and Year 4 you're visiting the Two Poggles, a very strange place!
What lies underneath our skin? What holds our bodies together? How does our body digest our food? What do we do to keep ourselves healthy?
We'll find out all the answers over the next few weeks.
We're starting Power Maths book C this half term. Topics include fractions, decimals, time and money. Keep logging on to Times table rock stars! Keep practising!
They'll be lots more activities, from musical compositions to art, French games to investigating healthy food. We're looking forward to seeing the fantastic work you produce.
Most importantly, stay safe and take care.
Mrs Riddell and Mrs Turner
