Y5/6 Swimming Gala
at Edisford Pool, Clitheroe
Monday 11th March
Team: Aleece, Imaan, Annie-Mae, Eva, Emily, James R, Robert, Jack, George S, George R
This is the second time we have competed at this event and the children worked hard to put in a good performance. There were 10 teams competing in two heats. Our swimmers performed well in their heat, finishing in either 2nd or 3rd position. CONGRATULATIONS to Robert who won his heat and came away with a BRONZE medal in the 3x 25m individual medley.
Y5/6 Football League Round 1
at Ribblesdale High School

The boys started the first round off well this year with 2 wins and 2 losses. There was some excellent play and strong defence against some difficult teams from much larger schools. We were proud of their achievements and sportsmanship. Well done boys and thanks to Mr Holroyd; our parent and past pupil supporters.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR Y3/4 GYM TEAM!
After some early morning practises at school, the children learnt a set routine to perform at the competition. They worked hard to perfect their moves and perform with control and precision. We were thrilled to discover that we had finished in Joint
1st position
after competing against 19 other teams. We received our GOLD medals from the Partnership a few days later.

Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics
at Oakhill College

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR Y5/6 TEAM!
The children competed in relay races, obstacle races, speed bounce, vertical, long and triple jumps as well as chest push and javelin. We were thrilled to finish 2nd in the small schools competition and returned home with SILVER medals.
