Well done to everybody in Reception. Your eggs were 'eggstraordinary'!
'Eggstra' congratulations to our 1st and 2nd place winners. You did an 'eggcellent' job!
Happy Mothers Day. Your children had some lovely things to say about you.

Show and Tell fun again!
Our 'bedtime stories' night was lots of fun. We went on adventures into different stories and enjoyed some tasty food and drinks. Who knew stories could be so much fun... RECEPTION DO!
Happy 5th Birthday to you! The children enjoyed your cakes, yum yum.
In P.E. we are able to set up the apparatus. We used the skills we have learned in floor work about Jack and the Beanstalk to create movements on the apparatus.
We are keen writers.
We have CATERPILLARS! Hooray! The new additions to our classroom have inspired us in our work around the classroom. We can't wait to share our learning with the caterpillars.
P.S. If you want your children to be quiet at home - get some caterpillars! They seem to have had an amazing calming effect!
Look at our fabulous 'shoebox stories'. We used them in our R.E. lesson to help us retell some of the Bible stories. How do these stories affect our own lives? Can we use some of their messages to make us better citizens?
Our topic is ready, steady...grow! What better way to see what we will look like when we grow up than to use an aging App. The children could use the IPAD, select the features they needed and changed their faces. I think they'll all look like fantastic old men and women!
Who needs a recipe book?! Just ask one of our Reception children how to make pancakes and they will be able to help you out.
This was one of many totally INDEPENDENT pieces of work which we are proud of.
Which caterpillar won the race? We had to carefully wind up the caterpillars, make predictions about which caterpillar we thought would win and why AND use mathematical language when talking about the race. It tired me out, never mind the caterpillars!
Happy 5th Birthday to you!
Look at our fantastic writing! We wrote our own beginnings to the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and we even tried writing our own stories. Can you read them using your phonics?
They are independent pieces of work.
Show and Tell - What entertainment! We had a visit from Spider-Man and we were able to use some fuzzy felt. Thanks you two!
Wonderful World Book Day
Look at us all having a go at the challenges.
Our story capes - aren't they impressive?! Well done!
Our healthy hearts talk was very informative. We know how to keep our bodies healthy and where different bodies parts are located. Ask us about it!
We made some delicious pancakes.
During Show and Tell the children were encouraged to ask who, what, where, why or how questions.
