Individual Liberty

  • Younguns
    We are working on a project with The Younguns and Lancashire Archives, called “Sounds of Identity”. The project explores British values through the stories of real people.

Our  British Values Ambassadors spent a day with The Younguns.

They retold the stories of;

John Ball and the peasants revolt.

Michael Marks, the immigrant founder of Marks and Spencer.

Sybil Phoenix, who came from Guyana in the 1950’s and was presented with an MBE for services to her community in South London.

We explored the characteristics and values these individuals demonstrated through their acheviments.
