Thank you for considering Balderstone St Leonard's CE as your child's primary school.  We are glad you are here!

We understand just how important it is to choose the right Pre-school and Primary school for your child.  We, as primary schools, get the privilege of helping your child flourish in body, mind and spirit for 7+ years. For our youngest children (Brambles nursery), we may be with them from when they are 2 years of age till they are 11!  We NEVER take this privilege for granted.  

The following pages give you important information about the application process, our admissions criteria and also any supplementary faith information you may want to provide. 

This year - you MUST have applied for your child's primary school place by

15th January 2026

Admissions - Supplementary Information.

At Balderstone St Leonard's CE Primary School the governor's will take into account any information provided about faith, in line with the detailed criteria in our admissions policy.

If you wish to provide the governors with a faith referee you must complete the supplementary form.

THE SUPPLEMENTARY FORM MUST BE RETURNED DIRECTLY TO SCHOOL BY 15TH JANUARY 2025

DO NOT RETURN THE SUPPLEMENTARY FORM TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITY.
