School opening hours

Our UNIVERSAL FREE breakfast club means that our school day starts at 8am every day. You can bring your child to the school hall for a healthy brekkie, to learn and play some traditional board games and then we all take part in our Wake up and Shake up session for 15 minutes before the school teaching day begins!  Our Fed, Read and Get Ahead club is open to every child in school and is the perfect way to start the day. Lots of our schools staff also have breakfast with the children too, in true Balderstone family style!

Our school teaching day starts at 8.40am as our doors open and we are ready to start learning. As a school we all start with reading, as this is the foundation of all of our wonderful learning. 

Lunchtime is at 12pm for an hour.

The school teaching day finishes at 3.10pm and we have a school day of 6.5 hours in total.

Therefore, our school week is 32.5 hours per week. 

Wrap-around care

However, we might be a small school, but we offer our own bespoke, wrap-around care service Monday - Fridays provided by Progressive Sports.

 Breakfast club opening time 7.30am - 8.00am, then it is FREE breakfast club time

 After-school club 3.10pm - 4.30pm or your can stay for the extended session from 3.10pm - 6pm.
