In history this term, We have been learning about the causes of WW1; what life was like on both the Western Front and home Front; how animals were used during the war; how warfare advanced and the impact of WW1 on the world today. We enjoyed Michael Morpurgo's 'Private Peaceful' and have researched and found out about the Accrington Pals . We used our research to write reports and poems  based on Mike Harding's "Accrington Pals" song.  We have asked many BIG and thoughtful questions, visited Blackburn Museum, produced model trenches and fabulous art work. In the Spring term, we look forward to our visit to the Imperial War Museum,
